The GT Spec Muffler is the ultimate in high power exhaust systems. Previously available only for select GT class vehicles, we are now proud to offer the GT Muffler for a wide variety of popular vehicles. The GT System is a FULLY polished stainless steel exhaust utilizing a massive 95mm* (3.74 inches) piping diameter channeled through a 114.3mm (4.5 inch) tip. A'PEX proudly stands as one of the only manufacturers in Japan to own and operate a 95mm mandrel pipe bender. An A'PEX Silencer is included to suppress exhaust sound output for street applications. By using even lighter SUS 304 stainless steel piping to save weight, the GT Series muffler stands as the benchmark of power, craftsmanship, and design. Each muffler incorporates immaculate robotic TIG welds as well as hand crafted welding.
The N1 series muffler has become a staple of the import tuning industry. The N1 was the first of its kind to incorporate the classic angled muffler design that has became so familiar with todays street cars. Born from our involvement in the grueling N1 endurance series, the N1 exhaust system pairs a straight through design racing muffler with free flowing, mandrel bent piping (60.5mm N/A, 80mm for turbo applications). The combination has resulted in dyno proven horsepower and countless satisfied customers world wide. Designed with track use in mind, durability is of utmost importance. The polished SUS 304 stainless steel canister features robotic TIG welding for an immaculate finish and years of reliable performance. The mild steel piping is treated with our special high temperature titanium particle coating. The N1 is truly THE benchmark in which others strive to duplicate.
CONCEPT:
Minimal number of bends for maximum efficiency
Inspired and designed from endurance and GT racing in Japan, HKS developed its Hi-Power Exhaust system for both turbocharged and naturally aspirated applications. HKS has incorporated this new race inspired offset muffler and piping design into many street applications, which offers a greater flow and higher-PRM power gains due to the less restrictive design. This is achieved by eliminating unnecessary bends for the straightest exhaust path. For turbocharged applications, the large and smooth exhaust flow allows greater exhaust velocity for better mid-range boost response and high-RPM power. Naturally aspirated vehicles also benefit from greater exhaust flow capacity as engine tuning levels increase. Certain applications are available in a Silent Hi-Power version which has an inner silencer built into the muffler. Like Drager Exhaust systems, Hi-Power Exhaust systems are made from SUS304 stainless steel muffler and tip assemblies. Depending on the application, Hi-Power muffler tips are 96mm, 115mm and 120mm in diameter, piping diameter ranges from 55mm to 95mm. Special Edition HKS Carbon Titanium Hi-Power Exhaust systems are exclusively available for certain popular applications. These exclusive versions of the Hi-Power Exhaust consist of a carbon fiber wrapped muffler shell, titanium tip, and polished SUS304 stainless steel piping.
Designed for both turbocharged and naturally aspirated applications, the HKS Drager Exhaust system was the first of its style to incorporate a seamless muffler shell. Each system is constructed with a high-luster polished, straight-through SUS304 Stainless Steel muffler assembly with an engraved, angle cut logo tip. The Super Drager systems that are designed for turbo applications utilize either a 106mm, 120mm or 130mm diameter tip and up to 95mm diameter size piping. Naturally aspirated Super Drager applications utilize 60mm diameter size piping and either a 106mm or 115mm tip. The Drager II series is the evolution of the original Super Drager muffler. The new Drager II muffler incorporates a slim-line muffler, designed for added clearance and a 120mm tip that allows for an optional silencer insert to be used for additional exhaust noise suppression. Each system increases low-end torque, improves mid-range response and delivers high-end horsepower.
